Comprehensive Home Health Aide (HHA) Program
75 Hour Diploma.
The HHA program is designed to provide a learning experience where students will be able to successfully obtain the entry-level skills necessary to obtain employment in the healthcare industry. Some of the main tasks you’ll complete center around activities of daily living, which include things like eating, bathing, and dressing. You’ll also check their vital signs, and monitor their physical and psychological well-being. The 75-hour curriculum mandated by the Florida Board of Nursing includes all components necessary to train participants to provide home care to the ill and elderly. Students enrolled in this course will spend their time in classroom work, hands-on clinical practice, multimedia, lab skills practice and individualized student-centered instruction.
